Happy Camp’s Town Trail

Yesterday we hiked up the Town Trail just south of Happy Camp. It is a steep trail leading up a hillside to a viewpoint over our town. On the way up we met two forest service fire fighters on their way down the hill. Like us, they were in training, getting ready for a season of hiking in the forest. Steady light precipitation continued throughout our trek. At the top there’s a picnic table and there used to be a small chain link fence to keep people from falling over the cliff.

Happy Camp
We spent a misty afternoon on the hill overlooking Happy Camp
which is home and epicenter of our explorations.

There is a huge douglas fir tree next to the table, and I was drawn to it, and climbed up on its root to communicate with it via clairsentience. The first impression I picked up was that the tree wasn’t sure it wanted to communicate with me because it didn’t like human beings. After a few moments I sensed it accepted me and knew I wasn’t one to inflict harm on it. I sensed others had done so and RG pointed out scars on the side of the tree near the picnic table. A few years ago a local teenager set fire to the area, and that could have been part of why the tree didn’t trust humans.

Talking to trees is not new to me. I have felt their auras for years. If you haven’t then try it if you’re open to the experience at all. You can stand near a tree and feel the spirit and energy that emanates from them… especially the older trees. My new interest in talking to trees is to try to pick up impressions of things they’ve seen - Bigfoot in particular. I asked (using clairaudience) if the tree had seen a creature larger than a bear. This tree did not give me a positive answer and I don’t know if it was because it hadn’t seen Sasquatch, or if I wasn’t able to pick up the answer, or if I needed more time than we had to establish adequate communication. While we were there I closed my eyes, hoping for a vision of what the tree may have sensed, but all I could see was a bright green energy coming from the tree.
